With its characteristics white core and pure blue coating this is the same yarn as used by many designer label companies for their denim knitwear.

Expect some of the surface dye to come off on your hands when knitting. As with other indigo dye textiles, this yarn will age with washing and wearing just like your favourite jeans.

The first wash will remove some surface dye to slightly expose the white core which particulary enhances textured work such as moss stitch and cables etc.

Expect a little shrinkage in length with the first wash.
