My new spinning wheel has caused a bit of a glut of small skeins of hand spun yarn. Checking out some shawl patterns of Ravelry and Instagram I found these two absolute gems for using up small amounts of hand spun yarn.
This pattern uses a simple garter stitch pattern to make the cowl reversible and is knitted on circular needles.
The Cowl measures 48“ / 122cm in circumference and is 8“ / 20cm deep.
This is very simple to make wrap using just stocking stitch and odd sized needles.
A very quick to make hat. 1 ball of Rustic yarn or any equivalent to give the same tension 10mm single point needles
