I hadn’t spun with Shetland Fibre before but had worked with commercially spun Shetland Yarn a great deal over the years. Hand Spun Shetland was a total revelation, light, springy and beautifully soft.

A Range of Hand Dyed Fibre dyed in the Lavender Colourway
I treated myself to selection of different fibres to try out on my new Majacraft Aura spinning wheel.
I decided to use the same Lavender colourway was used across these 6 different fibres and a skein of hand spun thick and thin yarn spun from the Corriedale.
