These wrist warmers are designed to be very simple so its quite easy to adjust the pattern to suit any weight yarn or stitch pattern. Simply cast on enough sts for the tube to fit snugly around your wrist. Ribbed patterns work well as they are designed to be stretchy.
For Aran Weight Wrist Warmers:
Needles: 3.75mm dpns
Yarn: approx. 50g
Instructions:
Cast on 40sts.
Divide sts between needles and begin to work in rounds.
Work in 2 x 2 rib for 6″ / 15cm
Make a button hole over 6 sts – I used a 1 row method for my button hole, this is a really good demonstration of how to work one.

Continue in rounds for 1″ / 2.5cm
Cast off rib wise to keep the finished edge stretchy
